I guess it’s about what you thought was right at the time. Then, what you’re willing to live with.
You can just feel the details. The bits and pieces you never bothered to put into words. And you can feel these extreme moments… even if you don’t want to. You put these together, and you get the feel of a person. Enough to know how much you miss them… and how much you hate the person who took them away.
My favorite scene from any Christopher Nolan film, and one of the all time best from cinema.

A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy’s shoulders to let him know the world hasn’t ended.
One of… four scenes that made me tear up. Okay, two I got choked up on, two I actually cried. I’m a sensitive little bitch, I know.
You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall, but in time they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.
As not a particularly huge Superman fan (I don’t hate the character, I’m just neutral) I have no stake in this… but hey, I’ve got a great feeling about it. Hope it’s great. If it’s not, well, it’s not like it’s the end of the world.
